Purple Label was founded in 2002 by Louise Evans and Stuart Tofts. Their clear aim was to provide a quality of cleaning and service far superior to the rest of the industry. Unfortunately, just after Christmas 2003, only a year after the business was established, Louise was diagnosed with Leukaemia. 2004 proved to be a tough year with Louise committed to the day to day running of the business, whilst also undergoing chemotherapy treatment. As many of Purple Label's customers know, Louise made a very brave effort to help when she could, but was experiencing some of her most intensive treatment, which led to her having a hip replacement just 6 weeks before she was due to marry. Thankfully, the hip replacement went very well and she was able to walk down the aisle on the day. Louise Evans, now Louise Rampe is well again and has returned to Purple Label full time. This year, Purple Label will launch the online Garment Care Shop which complements the services it already offers. In addition to managing the business, Louise is also involved in fund raising for Leukaemia Research.
